Dwayne Jr. had his first basketball game today. It was the team’s second game, however Dwayne missed last week to go to the Ohio Pen Show with Daddy, Joe, and Jonathan. His team lost today, but Dwayne did score two point, making two free throws! Here is an action shot from one of his free throws…

After church services at Midlane Park this morning, and then a wonderful lunch with my parents, all five of us loaded up in the van and took off for South Carolina. We made it to Dandridge, TN, where we are spending the night and then heading on to S.C. tomorrow. We will be arriving just in time for lunch at Granny’s!!

My cousin, Blake Hunt, is the starting catcher at Ballard High School. Last night, in the semi-state four series at Male High School, Ballard lost 10-5, but it was an exciting game. Check out the story from last night’s game here and root the Bruins on tonight as they challenge PRP again.

Tonight, our little boy graduated from Kindergarten. It was such a wonderful program and Dwayne Jr did an EXCELLENT job with his lines. We are so proud of him. We have lots more pictures to share, but some of those are on Mimi’s camera and we will get those this weekend. For now, here is our graduate with his teacher. We are so thankful for her and her impact on Dwayne Jr.

Today is Dwayne Jr.’s LAST day of kindergarten. He graduates tonight. Jennifer and I absolutely cannot believe it. We are so thankful that God has gifted Dwayne Jr the way that He has and for giving us this blessing in DJ. We are proud of you Dwayne Jr.!

Last Saturday, it was such an enjoyable morning that we took all the family out to the patio and backyard. Jennifer and I were able to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee while the kids played.
