The Ewers Family

Tonight, we had a wonderful evening. We had a Sunday School fellowship tonight at a church member’s house. Boy was it a beautiful evening. There was a big yard for the kids to run and lots of wonderful food. Jennifer even baked one of Granny Ewers’ MOST FAMOUS Strawberry Cakes…..mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!! Here are a few pictures from the evening.

Julia wanted to see the dog, so her “surrogate grandmother” took her to see Chase. Dad could not get the camera out fast enough (Julia is normally scared to death of dogs). We were all wondering “how long will this last….”

It didn’t last too terribly long. When Chase, wonderfully happy with his new found friend, tried to “kiss” Julia, she lost it and it was over!

My little niece had her 4th birthday at the Louisville Zoo today so the whole Ewers Family, well almost, was gathered there to celebrate the big event. The kids were able to see a hedgehog named “Gimbly” (sp?) and a turtle named “Aristotle.” I would say that the hedgehog stoled the show - it ate meal worms and rolled up in a ball when you put it in your hand.

Happy Birthday Peyton!

My sister-in-law, Emily, now Emily Moore, Esq., passed the bar exam on her first try today (well, she found out the results today). Congrats Emily - we are proud of you! **Bet you never thought you would hear a preacher say that to a lawyer!**

Julia - this morning, woke Daddy up by singing her ABC’s. I grabbed my cell phone and recorded her….enjoy!

Today, at 11:48 am EST, Dwayne Jr. turned 6 years old! We cannot believe it! Time sure does fly. Below are (1) a picture of Dwayne Jr at 11:48 am EST, courtesy his mother, and (2) a video of us singing happy birthday to Dwayne Jr at his birthday party which was a bowling alley. He wanted a party where he could go bowling!
